Troop Meeting

At this week’s meetings we will be planning out meetings, activities, and outings for the next several months. Please come prepared with idea for activities you would like to do during meetings, as well as outings and activities that you would like to participate in as a troop. Remember, this is your troop and it is led by you. If there’s something you want to be doing, this is the perfect opportunity to speak up and share your ideas.

December Campout

This is a 2-day/1-night mountain biking (or hiking) and camping trip to the wonderful Dauset Trails.  Scouts will be organized into separate riding groups based on off-road-biking skills / experience levels (novice, intermediate, advanced).  Saturday: loop trail rides of various difficulties will depart from the campground.  Sunday: additional riding.  We will walk the Wildlife-Exhibit-Trail and the Garden-(and-Scouter-Memorial)-Trail at some point.  Fishing the campsite-adjacent pond is permissible (to campers-only).  Hiking the bike trails is possible, provided supervision is sufficient (other hikers will be on the trails).

For more details about the campout visit: Oak Grove Scouting Campout Page
