Troop Meeting
Hello Scouts!
Reminder that this week’s meeting will be on Monday, the 30th.
Everyone can wear their Halloween costume if they have one, Class A’s will not be required.
At the start of the meeting, we will swear in our new SPL and ASPL (hooray!). Afterwards, we will be able to carve/paint pumpkins. If you don’t want to get paint/goo on your costume, please bring also something else to wear.
Additionally, please single reply to this email if you are planning to attend so we can determine the correct number of pumpkins to buy.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Yours in Scouting,
Violet T.
Mr. Cryor from troop 77 will be running a night time orienteering course at the meeting on Monday. Any Scout that needs to complete First Class requirement 4a or would otherwise like to participate should bring a compass and a flashlight or headlamp. Maps will be provided.
First Class requirement 4a — Using a map and compass, complete an orienteering course that covers at least one mile and requires measuring the height and/or width of designated items (tree, tower, canyon, ditch, etc.)
