- Atlanta Area Council Merit Badge Days Atlanta Area Council holds several Merit Badge Days throughout the year. Offerings include Aviation, Automotive Maintenance, Construction (Drafting, Electricity, Landscape Architecture, Safety, Surveying, or Welding) and Railroading.
- Atlanta Area Council Conservation Weekend Formerly called Hornaday Weekend, though the BSA has renamed the conservation award. It is now the Distinguished Conservation Service Award, and the weekend has been renamed to match. The event is still pretty much the same though. Scouts will have the opportunity to work on up to three conservation themed merit badges, all of which will help satisfy requirements for the Distinguished Conservation Service Award, and will also have the opportunity to participate in a workshop on creating and leading a conservation service project. The cost of the weekend includes camping, meals, merit badge costs, and a t-shirt.

- Dunwoody Nature Center Several courses available in Spring 2022 – see the link for classes to be offered.
- Northeast Georgia Council Pathfinders Scoutland is a Northeast Georgia Council Scout Camp on the shores of Lake Lanier. This summer they are offering two weeks of merit badge classes, where you can work on, and in most cases complete, one merit badge per day. There are still a lot of openings for most merit badges. This a great opportunity to work through several merit badges this summer.
Check the weekly newsletter for additional opportunities as they become available.
